What we look for

Someone who shows up on time, tells the customer the truth about what the system needs, and leaves the basement cleaner than they found it. Experience with boilers and old steam systems counts for a lot around here. We have also trained plenty of people from scratch, and we would take someone reliable over someone with a long resume.

Every technician works under our Pennsylvania license, PA License #001864, and runs calls out of the shop at 216 Parrish St.

The work itself

Wilkes-Barre housing runs old. In a single week you might see cast iron waste lines, a steam system that started life burning coal, and a tankless unit that went in last spring. Residential service is most of it, with light commercial mixed in, across the Wyoming Valley and up into Lackawanna County.

Our phone is answered around the clock, so after-hours calls are part of the trade here. How that falls on any one person depends on the role, and it is a fair thing to ask about when we talk.
